A FARM THAT TEACHES
Every square metre has a purpose.
The plan brings nursery production, protected vegetables, open-field learning, and shared infrastructure together. Select a zone to explore the proposed allocation.
A strong start for every planting cycle.
Half of the Cravo house is reserved for vegetable transplant propagation: seed preparation, nursery benches, irrigation, hardening, and dispatch.

Areas are gross footprints, not net cropped or bench area. Internal aisles remain inside each zone. The rounded figures sum to 10,000 m².
PROTECTED GROWING

A retractable-roof house combines outdoor exposure with protection when conditions call for it. The demonstration plan divides its gross footprint equally.

Proposed SiFT integration, not an approved off-the-shelf combination. Fruiting-crop pot sizes and spacing need their own agronomic and equipment checks.

Is the demonstration farm already operating?
This website presents the proposed SiFT Smart Demonstration Farm. The farm location, construction status, operating dates, and visitor arrangements will be confirmed before they are advertised.
How much of the farm is under the Cravo house?
One acre, approximately 4,047 m², of the one-hectare site. Half of the house is for propagation and half is for tomatoes, cucumbers, and bell peppers. The remaining approximately 5,953 m² includes field plots and support infrastructure.
Is Paperpot planting fully autonomous?
No. The proposed workflow is operator-supervised, tractor-assisted transplanting. Chainpot handling, crop selection, loading, safe operation, and SiFT attachment compatibility must be validated. It is not a claim of an approved plug-and-play or driverless system.
Do all sensors connect directly to 5G?
No. Low-power sensors can communicate over LoRaWAN to a gateway. A separate 5G router provides internet backhaul where coverage is available, with a planned 4G fallback. Local equipment safety must not depend on the public website.
