THE DEMONSTRATION FARM

One hectare. Designed as a complete system.

The SiFT Smart Demonstration Farm connects vegetable transplants, protected crops, field operations, and technology training in a single demonstration model.

THE SITE PLAN

Protected growing is only part of the farm.

CRAVO SHADE HOUSE · 1 ACRE
ZONE 01 · PROTECTED PROPAGATION

A strong start for every planting cycle.

Half of the Cravo house is reserved for vegetable transplant propagation: seed preparation, nursery benches, irrigation, hardening, and dispatch.

Gross allocation
½ acre · approximately 2,023 m²
Demonstration focus
Seedling quality, batch traceability, transplant readiness

Areas are gross footprints, not net cropped or bench area. Internal aisles remain inside each zone. The rounded figures sum to 10,000 m².

Design basis: 1 hectare = 10,000 m². One acre = 4,046.856 m²; each half-acre = 2,023.428 m². Figures on the plan are rounded.

A CLEAR LAND BUDGET

Keep crop space and support space in balance.

Proposed gross land allocation
ZoneAreaPurpose
Cravo shade house≈4,047 m²Half propagation; half protected crop production
Open-field learning plots4,200 m²Planting trials, crop rotation, and mechanization demonstrations
Access and headlands1,000 m²Tractor circulation, visitor separation, turning, and loading
Energy and water services450 m²Solar charging, water storage, filtration, and controls
Learning and handling area303 m²Briefing, packing, tool storage, and managed materials handling
Total10,000 m²One hectare

The non-Cravo allocations are proposed planning allowances. A survey, drainage study, access design, local requirements, and equipment envelopes must determine the final layout.

HOW THE FARM WORKS

A continuous learning loop.

01

Plan the batch

Select crop, planting destination, tray system, and target timing.

02

Raise and establish

Propagate, prepare beds, transplant, irrigate, and inspect.

03

Observe and improve

Compare crop records with water, equipment, and environmental data.

BEFORE CONSTRUCTION

Confirm the essentials.

SITE

Ground truth

Confirm location, tenure, solar resource, water quality, drainage, wind exposure, and mobile coverage.

STRUCTURE

Supplier engineering

Obtain Cravo sizing, structural loads, crop support details, and roof safety rules.

OPERATIONS

People and safe access

Separate public visits from tractor routes. Establish sanitation, operating procedures, and maintenance responsibilities.

This website does not announce an operating location, opening date, or bookable farm tour.
